Winter Solstice Festival

The DongZhi Festival aka Winter Solstice Festival. It is the day when sunshine is weakest and daylight is shortest, celebrated by the Chinese.
So, on that day, is a custom to eat dumplings aka Tang Yuan. They were lotsa types where we can eat the dumplings. With soup or smothered with peanuts.
I personally like the peanuts ones

I tried to make the peanuts one just earlier, but after they were cooked, they bcame flat as a pancake and all stuck together.

the above photo shows more like fishballs as we usually eat rather than tanh yuan..
