Merchant Rule

Design a problem using merchant's rule to calculate:
a) the future value of the payment
b) the periodic payment with fixed rate
c) different interest rate
d) payment changes/varies

Anyone here can gimme an example or a questions that I can design where it really applies or happened in real life? I damn bad in Maths of Finance here. (>.<)
