Sunday, March 15, 2009

Last whole week was the Japanese Cultural Week where they're lotsa activities going on organized by the Japanese Cultural Club. What kind of activities were there? Well, they're Tea ceremony, Ikebana (aka flower arrangements), Kimono photograph session, Origami session, Japanese movies and lotsa more.

Yesterday was the white Valentine's Day and also the Japanese Cultural Night, or I should say the closing ceremony. On that particular night, there were some stalls such as sushi stalls, gaming stalls, gundam stalls, anime stalls.

Went there with 3 guys.. Season, Hau and Su Yen...

Japanese top spinning..

Donno what is it called..

Kendama, a hammer-like object with a ball connected to it by a string

The fish catching...

Not forgetting some performance regarding Japanese cultural such as Judo, Para-para dance, Bon Odori and lotsa more. Didn't manage to took all the pictures as it's raining last night and I went back home earlier.

The stage needed for the Bon Odori...

The ike-ike dance...

.. and some singing performances...

That's all for now. Cheers~
