Thousand Paper Cranes

Saturday, July 26, 2008

Earthquakes strikes in Japan recently. And us students in UMS decided to make thousand paper cranes as a wish of luck for them, and as a symbol of peace, happiness and prosperity too. Thousand paper cranes is a group of a thousand origami paper cranes held by a string.

Each of us folds the cranes from paper...

.. with different colours...

.. where each colour brings different meanings which including different seasons and harvesting~

Then each cranes are held together with a string and...

.. and a bead is placed in the end of each string to prevent the cranes from slipping off~

And walah~ One thousand of cranes~

Kai Li with the cranes...

.. Wei Chon with the cranes...

.. and of course me with the cranes~

I hope with these cranes, will give them full of support and strength to face whatever things happened in the future. May GOD Bless Them~ Do pray for them ya?
